What's New on Picasa Web Albums?

Check out some of the things they’ve recently launched. They’re working hard to make Picasa Web Albums better, and to add new features as quickly as possible. Is there a feature you’d like to see? Let us know!

Make that slideshow to go! Create a portable Flash slideshow that you can embed in your blog or any other web page, like here in this blog, click the "Embed Slideshow" link, and copy and paste the HTML shown into your website. Learn more

Bigger photo uploads They've doubled the size of the images you can upload - from 10MB to 20MB per image. As always, you can still use Picasa to reduce the file size of the photos you're uploading to Picasa Web Albums.

More free storage They've upped the free storage quota to 1GB (and counting!). That's enough room to post and share around 4,000 standard resolution photos.

Link to this album or photo It's now easier to link to an album or photo from an email, IM, or web page. Just copy and paste the url and/or HTML code we show you. Plus, pick from four photos sizes for your web page.

View Blogger photos All photos uploaded through Blogger now appear in My Photos. The titles of these Blogger web albums match the titles of their respective blog posts. Now the photos you use in both services can be managed from one place. Learn more.

Anyone can upload videos using Picasa Finally, a way to share those digital camera movies with friends. Learn more
